IMAGINE. FEEL. TRANSFORM. RECEIVE.

WHY IT WORKS

What Is Imagination?

Imagination is simply the act of forming a mental image – a blueprint or mental equivalent of what is not actually present to the five outer senses. It is said that ‘where the five-sense person sees an acorn, the person with awakened imagination sees an oak tree’.

Imagination is a wonderful power that can change your whole life.

Imagining Creates Reality… The Key to A Better Life

Imagination is your most powerful ally. When you imagine the reality of a fulfilled desire and feel the thrill of accomplishment, the Universe responds. In life and work, success begins with a dream-seed, a goal, a mental blueprint. It could be losing weight, asking for a raise, quitting smoking or starting your own business. Big or small, dreams give us focused purpose and, like a compass, keep us headed in the right direction. Of course, it then takes systematic repetition, patience and persistence to reach your destination.

Law Of Vibration

Everything that exists in our universe, whether seen or unseen, broken down into its purest and most basic form, consists of pure energy or light which resonates and exists as a vibratory frequency or pattern. Humans are made up of cells, which are made of atoms, which are made of particles, and those so-called particles are actually just vibrating energy.

Frequency: Feeling Is The Secret!

Wonders happen when you combine image and frequency (feeling) effectively!

By exposing yourself to healing frequencies, you can easily achieve a greater sense of balance and higher consciousness. The ability to set, ‘feel as real’ and achieve a goal through frequency, systematic focus and accomplishment is the most powerful way to turn your dreams and mental blueprints into reality.

What Is Suggestion?

Some people are patterned by visual images, others by mental sounds, and still others by mental actions. Whichever it is for you, the form of your mental blueprint (image) allows the whole power of your attention to be focused on one idea, or goal, or desire, until you feel it to be true. This is suggestion – the subconscious realization of an idea.

Concentration

Concentration is the winner’s companion.

The first law of success is concentration – to bend all the energies to one point, and to go directly to that point, looking neither to the right nor to the left.”
– William Mathews

Mental Imagery

Imagery is a way of using our imagination, and it has countless potential benefits. The problem is that without learning how to use our imagination skillfully, most of us use it to worry ourselves silly! In fact, worry is probably the most common use of the imagination — the repetitive focusing on images and thoughts of trouble, problems, disasters waiting to happen. Our emotions and behaviors follow our beliefs, so it’s vital to be aware of the images you hold of yourself and shift these if necessary.

We know from a large body of research that our brains respond to engaging in vivid imagery almost as if we are having the real experience. It’s not exactly the same, but it’s not entirely different, either. So, when we imagine something visually, our visual cortex is active, just as our auditory cortex is engaged when we imagine a hearing song or a conversation, and so forth.

There is plenty of research on imagery’s effectiveness for a variety of issues. With regard to our bodies, this includes (but is not limited to) reducing the severity of hot flashes, postoperative pain and pain medication use, alleviating nausea, increasing mobility and decreasing pain in osteoarthritis, improving symptoms of asthma and more.

Imagery can also help us alleviate stress and anxiety, improve self-confidence, visualize success and enhance our ability to perform.

What Is An Image?

A mental image is mental picture, blueprint, mental equivalent or a visual representation in the absence of environmental input. It is “seeing in the mind's eye,” “hearing with your inner ear,” “imagining the feel of,” a quasi-perceptual experience; it resembles perceptual experience, but occurs in the absence of the appropriate external stimuli.

What Is A Self-image?

Your self-image is the way you see yourself and think about yourself. It is often called your “inner mirror.” You look into this mirror in every situation to see how you should perform. You always behave on the outside in a manner consistent with the picture you have of yourself on the inside.

Our experiences color everything. The events of the past can have a profound effect on how we see our lives now and what we choose to believe about our world. Our past experiences can also influence our emotional reactions and responses to present events.

Each of us reacts to stimuli based on what we have learned in life. There is no right or wrong to it; it is simply the result of past experience. After a traumatic event, for example, when our strong feelings have passed, we may be surprised at how we reacted. Yet when we face a similar situation years later, our reactions may be the same. When we understand those experiences, we can come closer to understanding our reactions and consciously change them.

How Do You See Yourself?

If you see yourself as calm, confident and competent when you are engaged in activities relating to your personal relationships, finances, health or career, you will feel calm, confident and competent. You will be positive and happy. You will perform well and get excellent results. If, for any reason, things don’t go well some time, you will throw it off and dismiss it as a temporary glitch. Your self-image is clear. In your mind’s eye, you see yourself as healthy, strong, emotionally resilient and capable in that area and nothing can interfere with your mental picture.

Unfortunately, all of us, when we were young and highly impressionable, received at least a few (and sometimes many) negative suggestions regarding fears, taboos, superstitions, false beliefs and prejudices. We got these from our parents, teachers, clergymen, relatives and peers.

Beliefs Awaken What They Affirm

All of us accepted the suggestions, beliefs, customs and traditions of our parents and environment. We had no other choice. We could not reject their indoctrination, as we had not yet reached the point in our lives to be able to discern truth for ourselves.

Whatever challenges you are currently experiencing in life can usually be traced back to a painful or limiting memory, picture in your mind, an inherited or acquired belief that you took on or a decision that you made when you were younger. In other words, we were (and many still are) ignorant of the power of suggestion and how a prefabricated mental state can suddenly be superimposed on the present.

Unresolved Feelings Time Travel

Auto-suggestion works with incalculable power. Most people, unaware of what is taking place in the “now”, are accepting negative vibrations daily. These then become negative auto-suggestions, and all parts of the personality are affected.

Often these are painfully persistent patterns – maybe your partners always turn out to be abusive or they cheat on you, you never get what you want, or you find it hard to make ends meet financially. These patterns indicate that those inherited or acquired beliefs that you learned when you were younger are operating below the threshold of your conscious awareness.

Sometimes there is no obvious correlation or you don’t know what the limiting belief or memory is – maybe you had a wonderful childhood and there seems to be no reason why you are chronically ill, or perpetually overweight, or depressed, or anxious.

The only immaterial creative power is thought. Thoughts are things. Before anything can be changed or created, it must be imagined.

Change Your Self-Image

The most rapid improvements in life come from changing your self-image. The moment that you see yourself differently, you behave differently as well. And because you are behaving differently, you get different results.

What Is An Imprint?

An imprint is a behavior that has been created because of something that we saw, heard, felt, read or experienced in the past. Imprints fall into three categories:

  • Negative imprints that are affecting our daily life in destructive ways.
  • Beneficial imprints that contribute to health, happiness, success, financial security, and harmonious relationships.
  • Neutral imprints, where although we encounter events, they have neither a negative or positive effect on us.

Your Self Image And Self Esteem

Your self-esteem is the most important part of your character. This is the emotional part of your self-image. It is how you feel. It is the “reactor core” of your inner power. It is the emotional component of your life. It is the most important single element determining your attitude and your personality. It is the key to your success in life.

The power of imagery can be either a help or a hindrance to self-esteem, inspiration, motivation or reaching goals.  For example, a student who is anxious about an upcoming music recital can inadvertently reinforce fears of stumbling during his performance, just as someone who has a weight loss goal can have a difficult time releasing the idea of herself as overweight, and an anxious athlete can tense up before an important dive or run.

Who Do You Want to Be?

Your self-ideal can be defined as the person you want most to be, sometime in the future. Your self-ideal determines the direction of your life, of your growth and evolution as a person. Your self-image, on the other hand, determines the way you perform in the present.

In 2008, the journal Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine published a review of 20 studies of brain-wave entrainment and patient outcomes. The conclusion was that brain-wave entrainment is an effective tool for cognitive functioning deficits, stress, pain, headaches, and premenstrual syndrome.

Benefits Of Image Repatterning

  • Raises your self-esteem. Remember, your level of self-esteem is the control valve on your performance and effectiveness. It determines your level of energy, enthusiasm and self-motivation.
  • Helps you to relax.  Regular interruption of chronic stress with relaxing mental “mini-vacations” can sustain your energy, your positive mood and your ability to cope with challenges.
  • Assists you to develop personal qualities you’d like to have — like emotional body-building. You can cultivate courage, creativity, patience, tolerance, humor, concentration, self-confidence or any other quality you’d like to embody.
  • Helps you remove the ‘emotional charge’ attached to pictures, thoughts and beliefs about anything (memory) that’s causing you to stay stuck.
  • Explains how the fulfillment of your desires and dreams depends upon the intensity of your imagination, not upon the presence or absence of any particular external condition or fact.
  • Helps you achieve your dreams and goals, big and small. It can help you improve relationships, learn new habits and skills, find a better job or build a prosperous business. It can help you gain recognition, power and fame if this is what you want. It can also help you win in sports, improve your health or lose weight.
  • Encourages you to begin to discipline your imagination and draw forth riches from the treasure-house of your consciousness. Unless there is first an image or mental equivalent in the mind, it cannot move, for there would be nothing for it to move toward. Mental blueprints must be accepted as an image in your mind and felt to be true before the power of your subconscious will play upon it and produce results.
  • Focuses your imagination on thoughts and things that create calm, peace, relaxation and a sense of security. This shift in focus allows your body and mind to refresh themselves and lets you use your coping and problem-solving abilities better.
  • Whether it’s for relaxation, problem-solving, healing, or self-development, Image Repatterning and learning to use your imagination skillfully can be one of the best investments you’ll ever make with your time.
